Story Hour
First and second sessions are held on Mondays from 10:00a.m. -11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Daily Services Offered to the Public
Laminator- Laminating is available in four different sizes for your convenience. The fee ranges from $0.50-$1.25 depending on the size of the item being laminated
Copying Machine- $0.20 a page in black and white $1.00 a page for color
ONE HOUR Internet Access with Printing Abilities-Internet access is available to patrons possessing current Ray County Library cards with no fines or overdue materials and a signed Internet Usage Agreement. Printing cost is $0.20 per page.
Color Printing- Color printing is available on some of the Internet Access computers.Printing costs are $0.25 for text only, $0.50 half a page with picture, and $1.00 full page of a picture
Notary Available- Please contact the front desk for fees and regulations.
Ellison Cutter- An Ellison Cutter is available for use in the office area, free of charge. However, all individuals must bring their own paper.
Fax machine- Faxing fees are $0.50 per page when receiving a fax and a $1.00 per page for sending a fax.
Equipment to rent- overhead projector and slide projector with a usage 
fee of $1.00 per day
Microfilm and copier- Microfilm copies are $0.50 a page, while the copier is $0.20 a page
Non Resident Fee - An annual fee of $25.00 to utilize any library resources.
Community Room
The Community Room is available for bookings and can seat 100 people. The room can be used for birthday parties, anniversaries, showers, family reunions, meetings, etc. There is an adjoining kitchen that is available for catering needs. Please contact the front desk for information on fees and availability.
Genealogy Room
Micro-film and other historical documents are available for research purposes. A computer with internet access, a micro-film reader/printer, and a copier are available in the room.
Outreach
Outreach is available to patrons who are homebound. The librarians pick a collection of books which suit the patron and deliver them to their home when needed. Please contact the front desk if you would like to be included in the service.
Interlibrary Loans
Interlibrary loans are for patrons who have a special request for a book that is currently not available at the library. A request slip is filled out at the front desk and then the book is borrowed from another library if available. There is a $3.00 charge for all ILL’s received.
Book Sale
A shelf is located in the library with used books for sale. Paperback books are $0.10 each and hardbacks are $0.50 each.
