2010 Computer Classes
January 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th 2010
Microsoft Publisher
The class will teach individuals: how to create and compose address labels, flyers, cards, certificates, business cards, resumes and calendars. The class will meet once a week, for an hour, for a total of four weeks. The class will be held on four Thursday nights from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. There is a fee of $25.00 to offset the cost for instruction.

Microsoft Word
The class will teach individuals: word processing terminology, the basics of the toolbars, how to create labels, and how to create and modify word processing documents. The class will meet once a week, for an hour, for a total of four weeks. The class will be held on four Thursday nights from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. There is a fee of $25.00 to offset the cost for instruction.

Introduction to Computers and the Internet
The class will teach individuals: computer terminology, computer component identification, how to operate the mouse with hand eye coordination, the very basics of the internet including internet terminology, and information on protecting yourself on the internet. The classes will meet once a week, for an hour, for a total of four weeks. The class will be held on four Thursday nights from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. There is a fee of $20.00 to offset the cost for instruction.

Surfing the Web
The class will teach individuals: surfing terminology, how to use web addresses and search engines more proficiently, and information on protecting yourself on the internet. The class will meet once a week, for an hour, for a total of four weeks. The class will be held on four Thursday nights from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. There is a fee of $20.00 to offset the cost for instruction.

Email Accounts
The class will teach individuals: email terminology, how to operate an email account proficiently, organization, and attachments. The class will meet once a week, for an hour, for a total of four weeks. The class will be held on four Thursday nights at 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. There is a fee of $20.00 to offset the cost for instruction.
