Have you heard that FREE internet access at public libraries is at risk in Missouri? Govenor Jay Nixon has vetoed ALL state funding for REAL, the program that helps public libraries pay for their strong internet connections. Not just reduced-he cut every penny of it!!! Without these state funds, our bill for using the internet will more than TRIPLE! Many public libraries simply will not be able to afford this. If you value free Internet access in public libraries, please contact the Governor's office and let him know that you want REAL funding resotred.
